Why does Woodland Montessori Need to Fundraise?

Woodland Montessori School established our Woodland Scholarship Foundation in 2005 to help families who wanted to provide quality Montessori Education to their families, but may not qualify for state assistance, but are still in of need financial assistance. Every year we host various fundraisers to help fund partial scholarships for families in need, and provide funding for continuing education for our facility.

What type of fundraisers are there?

Fall Extravaganza: This is our biggest fundraiser of the year! An amazing online auction with donations of good and services from families and local businesses. Participate in the event: Have a business? Donate a service or product to help raise funds. Contact the office if you would like to donate. 
Box Tops for Education: Raise money for WMS by downloading an app and simply scanning your receipts.
Mabels Labels: If you love it, label it! Once you order, click "Support a Fundraiser", then "Select your School/Organization", Select "Woodland Montessori School, Kalispell".
Smith's Earn & Learn: Grab a pamphlet from the office corridor to link your Smith's reward account of link your Smith's rewards account using the Smith's mobile app. In the Rewards tab of the app click Inspiring Donation and search Woodland Montessori School. 

How to Support WMS:
Volunteer: Part of the Montessori Philosophy is community- building. A side benefit of fundraising is building relationship within the school and local communities. This is a great way to become a part of the school community and involve your family. This is also a great way to earn your volunteer hours. 
Spread the Word: Share our fundraiser with your friends and family, via social media or word of mouth. Even the smallest amount of participation leads to great success. 
Participate in the event: Buy a raffle ticket, bid on a item. Have a business? Donate a service or product to help raise funds
Make a Monetary Donation: Any amount no matter how big or small. It all adds up and can make a huge difference.
